Sreetilak Sambhanda is Vice President Publishing, Viva Books and Viva Education, New Delhi.

He completed his Master’s in English from the Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (now known as The English and Foreign Languages University), Hyderabad, and M. Phil. in English from Hyderabad Central University.

His book Fiction in Films, Films in Fiction: The Making of New English India was published 2006. It received wide acclaim from the national media including India Today, Hindustan Times, The Asian Age, The Statesman, DNA, Deccan Herald and Vijay Times. Hindustan Times described the book as a ‘remarkable study of contemporary culture and Indianness‘.

He is the author/co-author of several language textbooks including Viva Real English 4 and Viva Everyday English Grammar 6, 7 and 8.

Sreetilak regularly conducts workshops and training programmes for teachers. He has been an active supporter of the cause of English in India and has spoken and written on the use of English both in the classroom and in social situations.
